AU Program for Students with Disabilities presents Dave Denniston to the Auburn community. Dave is a 1999 NCAA National Swimming Champion for Auburn. In 2005 he broke his back while sledding in his home state of Wyoming. Instead of giving up his dream of swimming in the Olympics, Dave continued to train and swam in the 2008 Paralympics. In his spare time Dave travels the country using his paralysis to motivate others. He has a moving speech about "Mind Over Body". Dave will be speaking in the Student Activity Center(Volleyball Courts) at 7 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. www.davedenniston.com
