Auburn Is No Longer National Champions

This has been a crazy week of ups and downs. We found out Monday night that the ITA National Championship might be taken away from Jared and his partner. The dilemma was that a rule was not followed when trying to break the three-way tie for first. Since Sunday the title has changed hands 4 times. The final decision was made last night. The new Doubles National Champion is the team from the University of Texas Arlington. I would try to explain how this decision was made, but you will need a rule book, calculator, and know how to use calculus in order to get the results. Trust me it made sense and unfortunately Auburn came out with the short end of the stick. We would like to congratulate UTA as we know they were on the same roller coaster ride of emotions as we were. Jared and I will take this as motivation to work harder this off-season and get better.
