Hotdogs, Trophies, and More

The first Adaptive Recreation and Athletics hot dog eating contest is in the books. We had 11 competitors and 3 winners. We had two different heats. The first group were challenged to eat 5 hot dogs. Taylor Becton took home the trophy by eating his 5 hot dogs in 2 minutes and 20 seconds. Our second group was a 3 hot dog challenge. Brian Moore won this by eating his in under 2 minutes. Steve Guice was our Faculty winner. The whole event brought in $220. A special thank you to Nathan's Famous for providing the hot dogs and water. I would also like to thank all of our volunteers who helped pass out hot dogs and take up donations.
